Definition: Red flags are warning signs or indicators of potentially problematic or harmful behavior in others. They suggest that a situation or person may not be safe or healthy for you.

Examples:

  • Consistent dishonesty or manipulation.

  • Controlling or overly possessive behavior.

  • Lack of respect for boundaries.

Indicators:

  • Repeated patterns of negative behavior.

  • Behaviors that threaten your safety, well-being, or values.
